Fast track - Racing with Physics
A fun racing game where players kick back and enjoy the challenges of creating, manipulating, and racing Baja trucks without being consciously aware of the educational value. Once the audience is captive, learning occurs through several methods. As players progress they learn about gear mechanics, unbalanced forces, and spring dynamics relating them to Newton’s laws of Motion.
Ties variable manipulation of the vehicles to learning concepts and outcomes of the 4-H curriculum.

Learning:
Players will be able relay the correlation between friction and traction, Lateral Force/ Lateral Damping, Torque etc.
Teachers will be able to explain application of Newton’s Three Laws of Motion in the context of the game.
Players will demonstrate problem-solving skills by applying knowledge, based on game experiences; to predict optimal vehicle settings for maximum game success in future races.
